Historia:
La Librería De Avila -antigua Librería Del Colegio- es el sitio más antiguo que se mantiene en Buenos Aires donde se vendieron libros, pero es también el comercio más antiguo. Desde 1785 está en el mismo lugar.

Grandiose : difficile de définir autrement cette librairie hors du commun. Sans aucune hésitation, il s'agit de la plus belle librairie de Buenos Aires, et même, depuis 2019, la plus belle librairie du monde selon le magazine National Geographic.
Installé au cœur d'un ancien théâtre mythique de la ville, El Grand Splendid, elle offre une collection sans fin, stockée sur plusieurs étages.
Le principe est toujours le même : des rayons aérés, un café où sont organisés concerts et conférences et des petits salons de lecture aménagés dans les anciennes loges du cinéma.

Hatchards is London’s oldest bookshop, having been established in 1797 by John Hatchard, a young bookseller who had been plying his trade in the ‘literary coffee houses’ of London since his adolescence. Hatchards has been a landmark on one of the finest and most famous streets in the world, Piccadilly, since Georgian times, occupying the current building, number 187, for over two centuries.

Livraria Bertrand


Livraria Bertrand is the oldest and largest bookstore chain in Portugal. Since it was launched in 1732, the Chiado Bertrand Bookstore stayed open, and has thus entered the Guinness Book of World Records.
